Another throwback: Yeasayer

I was a big fan of Yeasayer in college and still listen to them often when the mood strikes. This is definitely a throwback but I can't help but love the line "if you want to get it big time, go ahead and get it-get it big time." I've been using this as my "kick-in-the-butt" song lately.

I love love love love love love Lykke Li. I have since college. She is perfect. Anytime I need some inspiration or just a smile, I turn to her. Amazing voice, amazing style. Plus, she is friends with Justin Vernon.

Music: The Xx

I've been pretty behind the times lately music wise. I've been in kind of a funk with Pandora and Rdio... only listening to the same stations over and over due to lack of motivation to spend energy finding new stations or playlists to listen to. But I am loving The Xx as of late. No matter what I am doing--working on some new art, on my feet at my job or driving through the Tetons--this music seems to fit right in.

Summertime Clothes

I've been having some wardrobe mishaps as of late. Oh, Spring in Utah... I wake up and it's warm and only an hour later it's snowing or hailing and my flip flops, rolled jeans and tee aren't cutting it. Be summer already! I've been listening to this little number for the past few days just waiting for the weather to turn.
