Pretzel bread and space heaters

The other day I whipped up a batch of pretzel bread. At first I was a little hesitant because I had never ever came across the recipe that had you poach the dough, but I went along with it and ended up with little loaves of heaven. We have been having pretty decadent lunches lately compared to our usual lunch fare. Today, after the heating system blew a motor and almost started a fire, huddling in front of a space heater and chowing down on a sandwich that reminds me of summer is quite nice.
